Caldwell Memorial Hospital's Charity Care Policy

Caldwell Memorial Hospital (CMH) provides needed healthcare services to anyone regardless of that person’s ability to pay. CMH’s charity care policy is designed to assist patients who are financially unable to pay for healthcare services.

Uncompensated care, as required by law, is limited to specific guidelines as defined by Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Elective services will generally not be eligible for charity care assistance. Charity care assistance is secondary to all other available financial resources including insurance, government programs, third party liability and any other source of account payment.

INCOME GUIDELINES: Income refers to total cash receipts from all sources before taxes. The table below is based on the Federal Poverty guidelines and is adjusted on an annual basis.
